Hello! We'd like to introduce Tapestry's lead Pastor, Leanne Johnson. Leanne's passion is a "church without walls",
meaning a gathering of non-"religious" people who love Jesus freely, who worship Almighty Creator God
and who allow themselves to follow the inspiration of the Holy Spirit without hesitation.
Her craving to develop a church that lacks "religiosity" has brought her to create this unique
church in downtown Olympia. Leanne began in church leadership many years ago by stepping onto
a church board as the first woman to hold a deacon position in that churches' history.
Her desire to follow God and teach the followers of Christ the freedom, truth and wisdom of the Word
has led her down a path of many "blessed challenges" that has now drawn her to her ministry
at Tapestry ~ A Christian Connection. Pastor Leanne's ministerial education was completed through
the Assembly of God and Global University's Berean School of the Bible. While her time as an A/G
minister was fruitful, she came to a place personally where her desire to more fully function in activated,
Spirit driven ministry caused her to seek a different ministerial affiliation. The Fellowship of
Christian Assemblies has provided the biblically sound network of like-minded Christian brothers
and sisters in Christ.
